Truck bed liner

What would be the best spray in bed liner???
Ive heard of rhino liner but no others, does anyone have a spray in bedliner?? And how much did you pay for it?

 

My dad got a Line-X for is Tundra, it cost about $500 I think. Depends on if you want the liner to roll over the bed side or not.

I'm going the DIY route for my taco... (Herculiner = $100)

Rhino and LineX are the two main brands, and cost roughly the same. I'm happy with my Rhino, but I know plenty of folks who are equally pleased with their LineX.

Herculiner, mentioned previously, is one of the more popular DIY options.

 

Yea i got a quote from line x in TX and theyll do the bed with over the railfor 350, i think its a pretty good deal

 

I have line-x and it cost $422.36 in 2004.

 

Yea but did you get it in texas, their independately owned so each one charges diff prices

I was thinking of removing the Toyota liner and spraying the bare spots with primer let dry and spray the primer with Rustoleum bed linner and back in with the Toyota liner.

 

Try it, i didnt know they made a rustoleum one but its gotta be cheaper than line or rhino liner good luck

 

I don't think there is any debate that Line-X is the most superior product for bedliner coating. I have it and I paid $450 to do the bed and over the rails completely by 2 inches.

 

I had line-x in a 2000 longbed chevy...stuff sucked really hard. The texture was shit and it peeled a lot, granted we worked it but still. Rhino lining is dang good, but I just ordered some raptor lining for the inside of my jeep, and I LOVE the texture, it seems really tough, but I haven't gotten to test its durability. if you have a good compressor and an air hose, you can do it yourself with basic painting knowledge e.g. don't just hold down the trigger the entire time, let go when you're changing direction. I like Raptor liner the most by far.

 

The outfit that applied your Line-X must have made some mistake in the prep work or the mixture. Every other report I've heard about Line-X is positive; super durable with no peeling or cracking after years of abuse.

 

With all due respect to claims of no debate that LineX is "the most superior product", I've also seen several of their applications with the exact same problem jblair describes. (I've yet to see Rhino crack or peel.) The main problem I've seen with Rhino is that it seems more succeptible to gouging (e.g., when shoveling landscaping materials out of the bed). While not an expert on the composition of each product, it appears Rhino remains somewhat softer/flexible over time while LineX becomes somewhat harder/brittle. In all the applications I've seen, Rhino has a rougher/deeper texture, while LineX is textured more like a course sandpaper. Rhino also seems to take on a more weathered appearance over time than LineX does. (In fairness, however, that problem is easily remedied through the application of some Rhino Shine.)

As I said before, I know folks who are pleased with BOTH Rhino and LineX. As with most purchases, potential customers should compare several/all available products so they can choose the one that best suits their individual needs.
