you could do a set up like Special K's , but instead of doing a SUA leave the springs on top of the axle.

i'm actually planning something along those lines. not sure if i'll use the bed bolts or weld to the frame, but it'll be fairly simple like that. you can run a bed cage and huge shocks on stock springs and hangers, so i'm going to take care of the cage and shocks first, then worry about the springs. still not sure if i want sprung over or under yet.

I think you're right on with those types. I've noticed the exact same thing. I love seeing any truck that can tear it up offroad, but nothing beats a clean looking, well built truck that dominates offroad. I can really appreciate the worksmanship that goes into that.

 

couldn't agree more. takes a lot more time and effort and tends to be more expensive, but totally worth it in my mind.

So, we're staying at the KOA in Flagstaff AZ which is jam packed due to a VW Bus Rally. A bunch of damn hippies everywhere and lil concessions and shit. Well, we just got back from dinner and my dad says "I bet they're all smokin dope." He rolls the window down and says "Sure as shit, I smell it." What makes this right? What, them being one on one with nature balances it out making it ok? Bull Shit!!! I was joking around when we got back to the RV and I said "I'm gonna file a complaint stating that their dope somiking got my dog high and now he wont stop running crazy in the RV." We all laughed hahahaha
