I have been involved in over many different forums from various different things over the 15+ years Ive been on the internet.

I was a member of a forum on r/c cars, mountain bikes, 4-5 game specific gaming forums, a couple different car forums, a weight lifting thread, a dtv hacking forum, an iphone forum, a screen printing forum and tons more.

No matter what the topic, there will ALWAYS be certain questions that get asked over and over and over again. Ive seen hundreds of stickys and it doesnt help.

In the past, I would see one of those posts like
    "whats the fastest r/c car?"
"whats the best printer for outputting films?"
"how do I get free direct tv with a card?"
"how do I kill the lvl one boss?"
    "whats the best app?"
"how do i make my Camaro faster?"
"whats the cheapest way to get more horsepower?"

And no matter how many times that question gets asked? There are still people who go in there and just say "do a search" or "use the search function".

I used to be one of those people, and then my skull fractured from repeatedly banging my head against a wall.
    After that, I said ...
who is the real dumbass? Them for not bothering to search, or me for getting mad at them for not doing it and wasting my own time going to say how dumb they are?

so to all you people who feel the urge to chime in on a post about 'how much can i lift my truck' or 'what size tires can fit' or 'will i go faster with the a/c on and the windows up or a/c off and the windows down'..... save yourself the wasted time and just ignore it.

thanks.....rant over...and now i just wasted 5 min of my time on those damn same questions !!!!!

Best rant yet!? Well I disagree with that but will concede that this was well thought out and I am happy that I don't fall under the category of which he is ranting about

Odd, years ago I went on an oil rant on 1000RR.net...
Every auto or motorcycle forum I've been on for the past 13 years has the same "What's the best oil/exhaust/brand of purple gorilla fur for my ______" questions that start out innocently enough, then someone points out the long forgotten [SEARCH] function, and then when you think the thread was about to die...the hi-jacking comes in
