Budsgunshop has some. If you want a "Good" AK aim for a yugo! stay away from the romanian Wasr. They are decent aks but its a hit and miss with them..i would know since i had that mistake..

It shoots straight but the magazine wobb bugs the hell out of me.

Edit: I'd take my ak over a ar15 just for ammo costs.

Oh God... let me see if I can nip this in the bud before it gets too out of hand. watch this to become MORE INFORMED... only you can answer the question
    http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=XN-T_zeTdTM

PERSONALLY I love them both. At first I was myopic towards the AR. In my maturing i have realized the upside and downside of BOTH platforms. In MY experience, the AR's are easier to tinker on and smith yourself IE much easier to build your own AR. The AK's while simpler mechanically speaking, are harder to build yourself and/or smith because their parts are made with different tolerances all over the world, while an AR's parts are more or less swapable no matter who manufactured it (mostly US made parts).

My AKs were built in America by companys using the parts kits without recievers and added the required US parts and reciever.

I like both as I held off drinking the AR Koolaid, till now and I have two of these freeking things.

Think of an AK as a chainsaw and an AR as a steak knife.
Both have thier jobs but are very different in the way they are designed to do them.

Personally I do not put lights, lasers, nightvision, navagation, or any kind of optics on my AKs they just don't look right Komrads!!

Not a bad way to go. I've got a really really nice AR and I love the hell out of it. I think that a piston driven AR is the best, most accurate, and most reliable auto in the world. That being said AK's are easier to "tinker" than AR's.

The US. Arsenal out of Vegas makes awesome AK's. Personally, I build my own. IT'S FUN!!!

I like pretty much everything that goes boom.

Convert a Saiga. You get a brand new Russian AK. Google it for easy directions. Yugos are nice but they're not chrome lined. And also buy or build an AR. They're both a ton of fun!

the ar platform is leaps and bounds ahead of the ak. all the myths about the downfalls of the ar platform are from people that dont use them in thier profession.

Ha Ha. Ok, will get you a pic. It is a Spikes lower, with a Palmetto State LPK (awesome) and a giselle trigger. Also mounted the B.A.D. lever and ambi selector. Ambi mag release is on order. The upper is a Alexander Arms 50 Beowulf. The stock is the UTG 6 way adjustible. I upgraded to the 308 buffer and spring to absorb some of the recoil on this beast. Soon to order the Kings Armory muzzle break. It also has flip up rifle sights and tactical light.

Holy Crap a .50 Cal AR lol.... bet that hurts when ya pull the trigger. I wouldn't mind swapping mine from 5.56 to 7.62 (308).
