I just traded my 05 350z for an 05 Tacoma TRD SR5 V6 6-Speed Double Cab with 39k and am enjoying every minute if it. It was a little pricey bue to the money i still owed on the car, but i think the invesment was well worth it on mileage alone. There is a bit of rust underneath but nothing I can see that is too alarming, but all in all it is almost a brand new truck. The transfer from a sports car to this truck was suprisingly similar in the way it shifts, handles and drives. I just had to get used to know when to shift, as i was shifting way too quickly when first driving it. It's quieter, smoother and almost just as quick as my car and the gas mileage is still pretty close. No mods yet. Still thinkg that through and trying to get a feel on what the more importan mods will be. For example, bigger tires and a lift or intak and exhaust. Maybe ill just start replacing some of the rusted parts underneath like the u-bolts for the leafsprings or converting to disk brakes on the rear. who knows the possibilites are endless with this truck. Also suggestions are more than welcome as I am new to owning a toyota truck. I've heard nothing but good things about them.

Welcome from Texas!! There isn't a disk brake conversion at this time that provides anymore stopping power than the drums, so I would probably just skip that. All the other ideas sound like winners though
