Last movie I went to alone was "Saving Private Ryan" (I think 1999). My wife wouldn't go see it because it was supposed to be graphic. I guess it was for the time.

Yesterday, I took my wife and our 3 youngest kids to see Capt America. Between our $10 Xlarge popcorn being spilled on the floor, a $7 drink being turned over, my 4 year old being squirmy in my lap and stomping on my nuts 20X, and then to top it off my 13 year old daughter leaving her cell phone in the theater (only to be likely thrown away in the trash!) ... I wish I had gone to the movies by myself.

I just saw Transformers 3 by myself. Most of my friends are lame and don't want to go and my wife is particular so I go by myself. Also, I can see the movies I want without anyone bitching.

I you worry about what other people think of you and what you are doing than I guess you should not go.
    No big deal to me.

DAMN, sounds like a very expensive trip to the movies!

Gotta laugh outta the bold up there. hahahaha that must have sucked though.

After we had the little meet n greet here in SA (with an outrageous total of 4 trucks  ) I went to see X-Men First Class!...It was awesome!

and yea plenty of times I have been "that guy" :( :D OH well though, I'm completely fine with it. I see plenty of other guys and gals do the same thing when they're walking alone to their cars. SO then I say to myself, "ha, I aint the only LOSER, SUCKERS!" :p

I travel a lot and have ended up being bored....by myself....on more than one occasion. I've seen movies by myself more times than I can count. I read once in Maxim magazine that people who are truly comfortable with themself should be able to have dinner and see a movie alone. Of course, then I go to the titty bar.

I can't go with certain people cause they ask questions about characters and the plot like I have already seen it.... So sometimes I do go alone. But my brother rarely talks so he is a good person to go with.

Added extra awesomeness to its original awesomeness.
    I have friends.

Okay, seriously I don't. the only time I have is when we get to the theatre and decide to see something different.

I used to go alone alot. Travel to places where I don't know anyone and I'm there alone...so go check out a movie as an option for not going to bars to meet people.
Don't much any more...cause the kid is usually with me any time I have long enuf to go to a movie.
