Their about the same price and ive heard good and bad thing about both! Which one gives the smoothest off and on road quality? I could run the icon rear shocks with the front kings or would that throw my ride off??

Alot of people say the icons are really stiff, but the kings are supposed to be good. Where did you get yours from? I only found them at down south

Icons are digressive so they are harsher at lower speeds/softer hits but soften up later.

I got mine from Downsouthmotorsports I highly recommend these guys, I shopped around they still had the best prices and valved them for my application. I worked with Eddy

Icons for faster off roading/fire roads, Kings for slower speeds. Sonny at DSM can soften up the low speed compresion dampening for ya too.

King 2.5" extended travel coilovers with compression adjusters, Camburg UCA's, King 2.5" rear shocks, TRD 1st gen CAI.
That's surprising, Kings are usually the more expensive one between the two.

I'd pick Kings due to their history with shocks.
I have them on a sand car as well as my Tacoma.

Downsouth has a TW deal going on right now for the Foxes. I just jumped on it. As far as I can tell, they ride just the same as ktmrider describes the icons. They're a little stiff on the highway, but smooth out on the larger stuff. I purposely hit a couple of the 'speedbumps' that the construction crews left behind on the freeway and I barely felt them. The small bumps I feel alot more. I have yet to get it off road though, I'm still waiting on my rear leaf pack, so I can't stuff my rear end yet.

Heres the thread for the DSM deal.

Edit, I didn't see this was first gen at first, but I think they have something brewing. Helps to call em.

I picked Kings only because the stuff I do is at slow speeds and they are built more for that where the Icons I hear are built towards high speed stuff. Both great products whatever you get you will not be disappointed. Just really pick a color but Kings FTW lol.

foxes are progressive as well, so in theory those smaller bumps and highway driving the icons would be even harsher.

I have foxes as well and the ride is similar to kings, but im comparing LT ride with stock OE replacements

Hate to hi-jack the thread but the Sway Away coilovers are Linear valving, for what? high speed?
