Just finished changing my gear oil in my front axle & transfer case.
This is the first change for both of them, 58,000 miles on truck.

The front axle was very dirty, transfer case was still very clean.
Should have done the front axle when it's recommended.
I put Mobil One 75w90 synthetic back in them as that is what is in the rear also.

This was very easy to do, I researched doing both on TW before doiing it.
I also bought a oil pump for $10.00 to use on the front axle, I can see now it would have been Very Difficult to try without the pump.

Thanks Tacoma World for the information that is here. :D

Woot! Yeah the hand pump does wonders for the front. My transfer was very clean also, but I'm at 126k and have NEVER changed the front, so my front was pretty bad lol. TW is a winner!

    update :

Justed got everything cleaned up & put away, took truck for a ride.
I can't believe how smooth it is now, also seems to roll easier.
I did the rear at 55,000 for the second time, I'm curious to see if having the Mobil One in all three helps my fuel mileage.
