He is missing the intercooler, new injectors, and a quite few other parts that should have come with it. Those are part of the S/C kit, not the fit kit. It would probably run you another 1k in parts at least just to get it usable.

 

I'm sure his price is negotiable.

 

I would hope so. I just wanted to point out its not anywhere close to a usable kit in its current state. Would hate for someone to drop that kind of money thinking they only needed a fit kit and find out they got shafted.

 

Isn't the intercooler internal on the SC itself? I know there is an added radiator that he doesnt have, but 2400 for the SC alone seems like a good price to me.

 

What do you guys think a fair offer would be?

 

Find out everything else you're going to need to install this, and if it is lower than $3890 for everything including the cost of the supercharger then go for it, or make up the difference by asking lower if the total cost is higher than $3890 shipped.

Prices are from the cheapest place i've found superchargers and where i purchased mine from a few months ago.

Its not that simple to buy parts of a SC kit from TRD. I did this when I bought a SC on this forum that was missing a few parts. It took a few weeks of phone calls and emails to get it all done. In addition I paid well over MSRP for a few parts. They (TRD) dont like dealing with scenarios like this.

Very true, not sure exactly what parts come with what, because i ordered everything together. But i do remember the supercharger coming alone in it's own box, and everything else in the other box.

 

I went though a list of needed parts and was well over 1k as mentioned above. Sounds like too much of a hassle.
