PIAA fog lights question

well, this is my first thread on tacomaworld so i appreciate everyones help. i was wondering if PIAA 540 lights would fit inside of a westin bull bar. im trying to get the right size lights with the off road cages over them. thanks!!

 

Just find out the size of the lights and measure how much space you have on the bull bar. I think people have at least used PIAA 510's on bull bars.

540 housings are just under 6" (I believe 5-7/8" OD) plus the mount below.

EDIT: NVM, I think I'm thinking of the 520's, the link above says they're 5-1/8" O.D. plus the mount

If you're set on the bullbar, get the bullbar first and measure to see what would fit. I like the look of the bigger lights personally.

same here, i like the look of them and you get more visability

 

Keep in mind your local laws. You are only allowed to have so many beams when on the road.

 

I just measured my PIAA 540's , the lenses are 5 1/8" with the covers on they are 5 3/4" .

 

I can't remember which one's I mounted, I did it so long ago

I know they're the fog lights, and you can't have all 6 lights on at once in texas. A cop pulled me over once for that (thankfully just a warning), but hey it had just stopped raining really horribly and I haddn't had a chance to shut off my lights yet. .
