so i just picked up my 2011 dbl cab tx pro i had them install the supercharger before i picked it up, its got decent power but i am looking for more anyone have any suggestions? i am considring the urd maf recalibrator has anyone used that with the trd charger and cat back with intake? so far this thing is still way slower to accelerate than my tundra 5.7 was and while i know it will never be the same i would like to get closer. and suggestions would be great thanks.

Congrads on the S/C...I totally understand the want for more power...thats why I had to have a fast car in the garage also. I hear the tundra w/ S/C has a crazy amount of power and pull. There are definitly a few trucks on here that arepowered with more than just the TRD S/C... I'm sure you'll get some good suggestions.

If you consider parting with the engine cover and willing to ship please PM me and let me know how much you'd like for it shipped. I would like to try making a customer cover for my truck but dont want to attempt it on my original.

SC 4.0L vs stock 5.7L you talking about? I drove tundras and my previous SC tacoma was faster anyways a URD pulley will give you about 1 to 1.5 lbs more boost and its only $90 with intake and exhaust its a good combo...head over to xr-underground.com they have hella info...there great people :) Im so excited to install SC on my new tacoma just had to throw that out there lol

Get long tube headers, afe stage 2 intake (same as trd 1st gen), exhaust, smaller pulley, and you'll get a nice gain from that. I made 300rwhp on those mods minus the smaller pulley which I added after I hit the dyno.

Don't think anyone has used the maf cal before with the s/c, but there's no reason you can't use it if you wanted to.

its not bad just a major difference in off the line performance, my tundra trd came with 4.56 gears though i know that helped

This company does the swap the right way, and they have somewhere north of 400 ft lbs. which has got to feel good when stomped to the floor :) The only thing is they have a waiting list that goes out 18 months and its about $25,000, when they get done the truck looks like it was made that way, I mean the actual Hilux engine and drivetrain, its really awesome, and If i hit the lotto, Im getting it done!

2010 dbl cab trd, it isnt standard to be set up like that i was surprised when i was reading the window sticker after i bought it it had 4.56 upgrade. was actually annoying in the rain always triggering the trac control.
