Well i finally went out and bought some new speakers and some subs.

Rear- Polk Audio DXi5250 5.25" Components
    Front-Polk Audio DXi6500 6.5" Components
Rockford Fosgate Punch P400-4 channel for the doors

Polk Audio 10in MM1040 Subs for behind the rear seats
Boston Acoustics GTA-800m to power the subs
Dynamat on the doors, I need to do the rear behind the subs.

Kenwood DDX418 Double Din head unit to run it all.

One of the subs was bad from the factory, crutchfield has already sent a replacement and it should be here wednesday.

My first impression I wasnt that happy with it, but i found out the guy that set it up on my head unit didnt know what he was doing. Once we tweeked it, it sounds freaking amazing! Even with one sub woofer it hits really hard and the door speakers are clear as can be. This was my first audio upgrade to ever do and i have to say im extremely happy with it.

Any thoughts on the system or ideas for something i forgot to do?

Cool. That's where I bought my sub, amp and head unit. I plan on getting new door speakers soon (have Xplodes now) I'll keep these in mind when i'm ready.

Nice !!! I want to hear your set up in person. I have a Alpine HU and kicker/polk speakers I now need to look at a sub to install. Would like to check out your truck and audio some time, to get some ideas (if that's cool) I live in Cedar Park about 5 minutes form Krawltex. Shoot me a PM.

sweet set up woody... i have polks all the way around along with polk amps. mine sounds pretty good and am happy with it so far. im thinking about changing out my momo's 10 subs to 12 in pioneer shallow mounts. the box that mr marv built for me is the exact air space the 12's need. we still need to get together for that beer we talked about several months ago but work has really kicked my ass the past few months

Nice setup. I went with the Polks also. A pair of component 6501's, with the tweeters mounted in the sail panels.

Thanks Beau for meeting up and letting me check out your ride. Now I just have that much more that I want to do on my taco. Hope to see you at the next meet.
