Do you guys think 1/8" plate will be enough for limit straps if I mount them double shear?

Better go with 1/4". It's tough to weld 1/8" without blowing through.

My friend painted mine in my side yard for free. Came pretty close on just guessing the paint color too. Like others said dont spend a lot of money on it if you plan on going in the desert. I would have rattle canned mine if I dodnt know someone that paints

Go to napa and buy the paint for your truck in the rattle can. They mix the paint there for it.

You guys spend thousands on ur trucks but go the cheap route on paint jobs. I love eddies long travel tacoma bc the flares and bedsides are on point. Maybe I'm wrong but the primer/white bedsides/spray can look is ugly in my opinion. Even if you go to the desert professionally paint flares w pin stripes looks better than spray canned flares

as banged up as my primer fenders get, im ok with rattle can touchups every few months...

with all the miles im racking up on the truck now, im more worried about keeping it running than keeping it purty...

although, after seeing Logan (username) last fall, im now considering stripping my truck down and going flat black all the way around...

I destroy at least some piece of my 'glass every 6 months or so. Paint isn't high on my priority list, but then I have a white truck so it kinda works.

I'm glad I have a white truck (not racist )

And who is going to look at a truck that close to point out custom desert pin stripping..when you should be looking at all the hardware..

Or just take a mud bath and call it good..

it's all personal preferance. most peeps would wrather spend the money on more parst to increase performance, wrather than spend money on "cosmetics"

i spent a couple hundred to get my 1st set of fenders painted. then i destroyed them 3 weeks later.

not going to make that mistake again

word. once people look in my fender wells they forget about my ugly ass rattle canned fiberglass lol

actually the front is a whole hell of alot higher... check out the pics in the LT gallery

as much as I hate that place (We all do) Yeah I'll be there lol and thats rad man! I'm glad you had a good time out there. I'll make sure to have Serena get you two some shirts and stuff. Ridgecrest will be a good race. Tons of rough stuff so there should be some good racing going on. We have that race and Rage at the River as the last ones for the season. Then we have a Jan off then the season starts all over again lol
