 I would get ride of that thing and run a factory paper filter. I wish I had taken pics to show you what my MAF sensor looked like after running the K&N drop in filter. Once I cleaned it and cleared my cel it has not yet come back on.

Gadget was the one who pointed it out to me one day on the phone. He said to look at the filter in the sun and that I would see lots oh holes and he was correct and the oil sucks on them too. He said the OEM filters are the best he runs them on his trucks with the SC on them. I will do the deck plate mod soon.

Where did you get the fuel filter from, and how much was it? I've been thinking about changing mine since it still has the original one on it. Do you think it's necessary if I only have 55k miles?

Figured I'd post here since we're on the topic of maintenance.

Actually, you shouldnt have to change your fuel filter. They are designed to last a long time. Plus the fuel line nuts can be soo rusted that you could cause more problems.

Unless your using jerry cans to fill up all the time, i wouldnt even bother.

I got mine from NAPA for like $25 and with only 55K I wouldn't worry to much about it. My truck has 144xxx mile on it so I figured it wouldn't hurt. Oh and no rust for me :D

Installed my new Icon 2.0 rear shocks with resi and Wheelers greaseable lift shackles, And a longer steel braided rear brake line.

The shackles were a PAIN in the ASSSSSS All the old innerds of the rear leaf had to be pryed out first.

And cause the shackle kit needed it, Hacked off my exhaust. :p
