Within the next two weeks, I'm going to be ordering a set of TRD FJ Cruiser Rims for my truck. With my truck being stock what I need to know is:
    • Is there anything I need to do in order for these rims to fit properly?
    • What size of tire do you recommend? I don't want rubbing issues or having to trim.
    • What brand of tires do you recommend? I want something more aggressive, yet still perform on the highway (driving to college; not mess up my gas mileage).

    Thanks guys for the help!!

They will fit fine. On stock suspension I would recommend 265/75/16.

Thanks guys! Looking for that link everywhere! Haha. Now recommendations on tires? Not wanting to lose my gas mileage but wanting something a little more aggressive. Suggestions?

a lotta ppl like nitto terra graps...me not a personal fan cuz they dont look rugged enought... bfg a/ts are a popular tire..my dad had a set that went 70k mainly highway. and ive taken a recent liking to duratracs..probably will be my next set.

I've been looking at the nitto's for a while, the bfg's are kinda out of my price range. Like you, i've got a college kids budget. I just really want to get a good 60,000-70,000 miles out of my next set. What's the reason for your duratrac liking?

Haha I didn't know because the Nitto's have a dune all terrain, and another all terrain. Do you know what the mileage life is out of the duratracs?

Stick with a p-metric tire if your worried about fuel economy. Most company's won't warranty LT tires either.(road hazard) check out the bridgestone dueler revo 2. It's a good all around tire.
