you realize if you get e or d their is no bulge when you deflat your tires when go off roading to make a bigger tire print.

My 285's are D rated and I'm happy with them. Prolly get them again. D rated have white letters on one side and black on other. Also u can't get E with the "severe" weather snowflake rating. But D does :)

    COD! hah

Yeah looks like I got to go with D rated with Black side wall. I looked up your size Cory and its "RWL" (raised white lettering) which i guess has the option of both as you say? But your E rating size is "BSW" (Black side wall) like my size comes up in D. I'm thinkin this leaves no option.

early 90's runners and pick ups are the exception. thats when toyota still made nuke proof trucks...

good point on the early yotas....the 3.4 is a great engine though...204,527 and no signs of giving up yet. Not sure i could ever get rid of the runner considering nobody will ever make a frame as strong on a mini truck again

agreed. the 3.4 is awesome... but the frame on the 1st gen tacoma's isn't

toyota did a reversal when coming away from bullet proof early 90's frames and the shitty 3.slow to the 1st gen tacomas w/ great 3.4 engine and weak frames

no way can you get rid of the runner...

they finally got the truck right as far as looks and powertrain and then slap it on a weak frame...I hear ya it makes no sense!!

hey i finally added another piece to the puzzle...small but its still something off the checklist

for the 1st gen trucks, the only way to convert the lower ball joint to uni-ball is to run the solo spindles...:D solo offers the conversion, not TC

i've been thinking about picking up an RC truck... they look fun

i'm planning to go to pismo... just for the saturday though, dont think i can camp cause i have crap to do on sunday
