FS:Black Apple Macbook

bought brand new,just had warranty work done by apple replacing the motherboard(charge port wasnt working so i guess the motherboard needs to be replace to fix it)they also replaced the battery,top plate due to wear from closing the screen which included a new keyboard and track pad,very clean and works like new!theyre going for around $475-600 on ebay looking to get 450

What year did this model come out?

 

i think the original black first gen came out in may 06 with 2.0ghz and less memory and ram,this model was the newer version i bought in january of 08

i cant seem to find it.all i see is Mac OS X

 

Does it have the duel core processor if it does I think I can put lion on it and it would be good enough

The highest version of Mac OS X that is supported on that model is Mac OS X 10.6.8 (Snow Leopard)

That's the MacBook model I used to have till I upgraded this year . I can definitely say that for an old laptop (mine was actually from 06) it still ran pretty fast. Booted up faster than my quad-core desktop, graphics wasn't as powerful (integrated Intel graphics and the Core Duo was the processor on mine, but they started using Core 2 Duos later on) but still a good laptop. So yeah who ever is planning on buying 500$ is quite a deal.

 

yes intel core 2 duo and yes it has a camera,i was reading somewhere that there was a first and second gen of this computer,this is the 2nd gen,bought it in feb of 2008 and was just serviced by apple replacing the battery and top plate
