eyelids

does anyone know where i can get cheap black eyelids?

 

Only place to get eyelids is off ebay for 45 dollars or 43 if you want the "sleeper" style. They come unpainted though.

 

Dude if you can find a place that sells or customizes decals/stickers, use a black vinyl style and see if they can custom make the eyelid for you. I've had mine on for over a year now and only paid $20. I installed them. Super easy. Like applying tint on windows. Use little soap and water. Position the vinyl and squeeze the excess out when in place. The color match for the Silver was dead on! Im sure black can't be harder to find.

I've been wanting some of these too.. just don't care for the ones that drop down toward the center. The lines don't match.

oh and what kind of grill is that? does it bolt over?

 

The guy I went to to make the eyelids took a scratch piece of paper and asked how I wanted them. I told him from this point to this point and above. The curve of the headlight was the tricky part but once he put the info into his computer (scanned that sheet) he simply reversed his sketch to make the other side. Trimming along the ends and the top was required. That was fine and easy to do because I used a new blade. The hard part for him at least was the curve. The vinyl sticker does stretch to make it smooth so no bubbles would exist. I love it.

The grill! Nothing special actually. It's a 3 pc bolt on grill. It looks good there but its also in the shade. I don't have it on right now. Purchased it on Amazon.com.
