Havin' a senior moment?!?!

 

Hey Jim, saw the picture of the pups. Cute little buggers. I don't have any four legged pups, but have 8 two legged ones(7 grandkids and 1 greatgrand kid). Tom is probably working on his shed.

 

They are asleep now, they play for almost a hr. at a time now. It's a trip to watch. Little ones of any kind 2 or 4 legs are fun you never know whats next. Where is Sam Lords in Barbados?? Jim

 

Hi Jim, Sam Lords is on the Southeast corner between Ragged Point and Crane beach. Looked up Trade Winds because I didn't hear about it before. From what I found, you stay on a catamaran and sail the surrounding Islands. Sounds great(all except the run to St. Barths. They call the ferry over from St.Marten the "vomit comet"). How does the missus handle the water on board? Mine gets motion sick so we spend our time ashore, unless we,re diving.

St.Martin will have to be cool to beat Barbados as I love it down there. The other half is ok till she gets a 6 pack in her then all bets are off.

Where on the Island are they building? If you need any information on the Island, go to www.traveltalkonline.com. The St.Marten forum is the largest on the site. Some people have been going down for over 20 years and there is a wealth of knowledge. Some posters can be negative, arrogant and downright nasty. There is no registration unless you want to post, browsing is free. There is some rich folk there, but most vacationers are like us- worked or working and in need of a vacation. Just be careful if you go into Phillipsburg as there are wall to wall jewelry stores. We have always dealt with Ballerina Jewelers and what we bought has always appraised for more than what we paid for it. Mullet bay is our favorite beach and Rosies (little shack of a restaurant) on the beach has the best hot dogs, ribs and chicken on the beach. I'll try to get you any info if you want. Rainin' here now, cooling things off. Heard anything from Tom?

John, sister in law said look up Cupecoy in St Martinis not a time share but they can get one apt. for a week or 2 a year. Going out to eat so will look it up later. No Tom in days starting to think hes no longer with us. Jim

 

Hey Jim, maybe Toms wife banished him to his shed. Hope he is okay. The heat has taken it's toll up here in the Phila. are. Believe the number is 19 doa from heat. Cupecoy is right near our time share at Sapphire. Sapphire in it's hey day when we bought was really nice, but the owner took the money and ran (so to speak) and didn't put back into the buildings what needed repair. Now with a new manager, things are slowwwwwly getting better. Enjoy your meal.
