where's the RC track? at the airport?

the reason i havent picked up the conversion is beacuse solo wants $800 for it... i know, rip off. but it also includes heim steering conversion, but i already have that. the solo kit uses 7/8 heims which is what i have now, so i need to call up solo and see how much it would be for the uniballs and adapter piece they fab up... still prob going to be $400-ish...

you can see the conversion piece in their ad here... feel like taking on a small fab project?

Dude I used to race there years ago! I used to do the dirt oval truck and off-road track races...but many years since. Some people got some crazy (expensive) pits, but they helped me get my stuff goin then...I remember my first race I was all over the track running people off, I was havin fun and everyone was so pissed! some serious racers out there, you learn the curve haha....

submarine man haven't seen you in a while jk haha... ya there are some crazy pits out there...best part is beating those guys while im working off my tailgate...its one of only kinds of races that can be won on a minimal budget...and demo derby too i guess. driver skill will prevail.. not fun getting beat by someone just because they have a bigger budget. speaking of demo derby...its tomorrow night ..anyone going??

Hey Bfoster how you like your Goodyear MTR Kevlars? I like the non-symettric tread look plus looks lil more agressive than A/T. It doesnt seem as agressive as some M/Ts tho, like in between...

How is your mileage difference/driving from stock so far?

i gotta say man, i dunno if im gonna ever choose another tire, dont know how many miles ill get out of them though. i feel my milage is about the same, there not much bigger than my stockers, maybe 1-2mpg because of the tread, not loud on the road, handle good, but offroad OMFG (100% necessary) they are amazing except sand. sand they suck in. in the dirt i dont think ive seen a better traction-ing tire and in the mud too there really good

Hah nice ...i like the necessity...sounds good. Sucks theyre not good in sand. I might have to consider having two sets one day lol..

I hope to hit pismo (sand) up few times a year hopefully so maybe ill stick with the bfg A/T. Plus I drive A LOT. I'm at 25k miles on my '11 already, i should try to stay away from MTs LOL....damn! I'm hoping the 285 jump won't mess with my plenty driving....

Damnit Brian, now I'm lookin at Hankooks too!..LOL...

The HK ATM(RF10) seems to do well against the bfg A/T, and its cheaper? Hm...
