    so my dumb father told me we had oil, i see the box, see five courts, same oil as box right? put in the first quart to realize its 10w-30.

    havent put any more in, sohuld i drain it again and go get 5w or is this okay?
    help quick. Pleasseeee

    10w-30 will be fine. 5w really helps for cold starts in the winter.

    guess i shouldnt rely on a box and the same brand oil inside, should actually start reading labels. idiot i know, but fuckkk

    ya i know it is over kill. but the driving i do hunting and beating the hell outta it its worth it i think, but dont get me wrong im lazy and most of the time its 4-5k

    Mods are currently being changed .....
    agreed. I go 5k on gf's daily driver w/ conventional oil. I'm not doing mine til 7500 on M1 synth.

    You will be fine. I use 10-w30 in my tacoma.

    It's so hot you aren't going to have a problem. I'd just change it at 5,000 miles or right before the temps start to drop below about 40 overnight.
