Every time I've called they have picked up right away. Sometimes when it comes to business you just need to shut down early and sometimes those days are unforeseen. As someone else stated shit happens. Had I been cutting it that close after them telling me they close at 5, I would have said I am on my way from xxxx and am running a little late. Will someone be there to help me with xxxx when I get there or can someone stick around should I show up 10 or so minutes after 5? Not making excuses for them but as a business owner I know first hand shit happens and sometimes you need to get out of dodge before the end of the day and if your an operation with very little staff it doesn't take much for this scenario to play out. It would have been unprofessional had you shown up and they were trying to get out and gave you the brush off or told you to go F yourself.
Not for nothing but your first post sounded like a legitimate venting session. Your follow up posts sounds like you are pandering to try and get a discount because of the situation since you are likely aware of their good nature of trying to get things right. I could be wrong but that is how it comes across to me.:notsure:

So now that you've vented, now what? Do you feel better? Do you think you have changed the minds of any DSM customers?

You haven't changed mine, DSM is still the best.

I always give my gun smith a call right before I leave my house just to make sure he will be there even if we had prior arrangements because I know that he is a busy guy with a lot of customers and sometimes he has to duck out early to go test a customers rifle or whatever.

You should have vented on facebook.... your venting about a great company to a bunch of guys who do business with them and like them... how do you expect us to react. Maybe if you had directions from mapquest.... or popped it into your gps you could have found it easier. Make an appointment on saturday and go up there... what were you trying to get done anyway?

all ive done is responded to people that have got on this thread. I dont need nothing. Too me and the other I hang out with thought the same thing. The problem with everythng was the fact that I didnt tell him Im from to tacomaworld is what someone said. BC i guess they take care of them. I understand where everyone is coming from doesn't mean it doewsnt suck. And sorry but i wish if im off at 5 could leave at 4:15 or so. The bottom line is it shouldnt matter where the person is coming from

Lock this shit, it is getting stupid. OP vented, everyone gave their opinion of the OP. Everyone has bad experiences and need to bitch about it. OP has a valid point, however, so do others defending them, hence the 99% satisfaction rating, just sucks it happened to you not them.:locked:

DSM won't get into it with you in a thread. If you want to contact them, then the best thing for you to do is to PM them.

Soooo what if they needed to close early because only one guy opens and closes the shop and he needed to shut down to go pick up his kid from somewhere. Would you still be bitching? Again your first post could have been taken as a legitimate bitch but complaining that they didn't reply to your post is ridiculous and childish at best. Maybe if you sent them an e-mail and they didn't respond within 24 hours than yes you would have another legitimate bitch on your hands. But this is a message board and they are not required to respond to anything pertaining to them or do hourly searches to see if their name came up on the board. Get a grip and face the facts that their lives don't revolve around you. How do you know some emergency didn't come up forcing them to close early and go off the grid for a few hours?
