I ordered Black TRD FJ Cruiser Center Cap and it will work on a 17" Tacoma Factory Wheel.

Here is the Part Number, only cost $11 each

I would recommend using the thin (emblem type) double side sticky tape from NAPA on the tabs just to ensure they are not going to come off. They did snap on to the wheel, but I added the tape to make sure they didn't come off.

This is a 5 minute job

How are the centercaps removed on the sport rims? Do you have to take the wheels off the truck?

Nice work, looks gerat. I'm trying to find an alternate center cap to use of my FJ rims, I wonder if these would work? Or, anyone know of any kind of centercap mod for the 17" aluminum FJ rims?

the sport wheels have the same BS/offset as the alloys and i think the same as the steel wheels. should be ~ 5.5" BS. any 05+ 6 lug tacoma can run any 3 of those wheels.

I tried these on my wheels today. They snap on but pop right back off with minimal effort and would like likely fall off over time so I returned them. The stock centercaps snap on super duper tight and use a different retention clip style.

I have sport rims on my 1st gen DC and I tried to put these center caps on just like all of you above but they wouldn't go? Would there be anything different from putting these on 1st gen to 2nd gen?
