if you have 8 items and one is lighter than the rest how can you find the light one if you can only use a scale 3 times?

 

if the ratio of men to women in a room is 5:7 and 24 more men enter, the ratio becomes 7:5 men to women.

How many women are in the room?

 

if you have 4 containers, 1-13gallon container full of liquid, 1 empty 5 gallon container and 2 empty 3gallon containers. how can you end up with a container with exactly 4 gallons?

 

kinda math riddles i guess but still need logic to solve them

if there are 14 blondes in a room and 8 people with blue eyes and 5 people with blonde hair and blue eyes... 2 people have neither blonde hair or blue eyes.

how many people are in the room?
