Reg Cab seat covers

so i'm toying around the idea of seat covers for my truck. i dont like the neoprene feel (or cost) so i'm thinking cloth. i found a couple that look pretty nice. anyone ever use either one of these types?

I have the standard gray (i think gray?) interior. what do you guys think? any other suggestions? i'm really looking to keep it under $175

wet okole makes the best seat covers you can buy.. they look like they are factory.

imho the interior is where you spend most of your time and cheap seat covers will suck dude trust me.

the neoprene feels excellent wet okole uses a padded material under certain point that makes the factory seat way more comfy!
if your scared of the price wait for a group buy or try and organize one through wet okole here are some pics of my regualar cab i'm real particular about what i put on it and these have been excellent so far 100% satisfied.

What are you trying to accomplish with the seat covers? Cloth covers will let moisture and fine sands and silts through to your stock seats so there's really no protection provided. Neoprene is waterproof and also stops those finer dirts from working it's way down to your stock seats. If you're looking for protection, neoprene, if you're looking for looks or to 'spruce up' the interior, cloths ones will work fine. I don't have any personal experience with any of the ones you referenced but have heard decent things about coverking (the Autoanything link).

 

Damn Hans, that's got to be my favorite regular cab Tacoma! I like what you did with the lights on the ARB!

 

i have had my wet okoles for about 6 months and mine are as new. i can also say with out a doubt that after having worked in the car business for over 20 years i have never seen a seat cover that fits so well.

it's hard to explain but try and see a set in person there are cool all year round and in the winter time they are def not as cold to sit on they just regulate temp nicely imo.

 

the smoked reflector on the turn signal? if so i know it made a pretty big difference with the truck being all black like that they stuck out like a sore thumb lol.

the arb is really really nice and it is sturdy as shit! i think that for all the second gen bumpers its only between relentless fabrication those are killer looking and very strong and thought out very well as the arb is.

i would not even consider another bumper for 2nd gens.

 

the only thing that graces the interior is wet okole weather tech pioneer and twm performance. changed the entire look of the truck with way nice quality!

 

No, I meant the 4 aftermarket lights you used to have on your Randy Ellis bar. I think they look nice and subtle on the ARB. I agree, I love the ARB's and Relentless bumpers. If I do bite the bullet and go for one, it'll probably be the Relentless aluminum bumper. The ARB is just too damn heavy and i don't want to redo the front suspension, I just got it where I want it!

 

lol i would swap my seats for some nice corbeau seats but, i have no idea how to over come the center console issue? i like to retain the factory look as much as possible minus the seats themselves of course.

 

Somone did a pretty nice swap for some FJ Cruiser seats. The FJ seats have an arm rest built in and then you could find a center consol that suits your taste.

 

dude right on especk has a sweet ass regular cab and he is rolling one of erics aluminum bumpers he seems to really like it a lot.

i needed the weight to compress my front down a bit lol. if you want to keep it light but still have all the strength thats a perfect solution. if your on a lot of rocks though that aluminum i could see it getting gouged out a bit not sure if thats actually something to worry about? i would imagine the steel would be better suited to that kind of wheeling though. other than that the aluminum is the better choice imho.

 

Mine would be mostly for the look and deer impact mitigation (or pedestrians in Boston).

 

I have the coverking open mesh material on mine, fit is very good.

 

to answer an earlier question, i want the seat cover because of the stains and such that are on the seat from the previous owner. didnt watch not to get stuff on the seats i guess. i just dont want to look at them.
