So i got rear ended, and im from alabama, what local bodyshops have a good reputation? is the groove toyota dealer worth a damn? never heard a response on plate rear bumpers so i guess none of you run them? im thinking they are too heavy anyway for my stock suspension. if you were rear ended with bumper/hitch damage where would you take your truck or would you just collect the money and save

Depends on what part of town you are in ? I have a list of companies we send our clients to, If it was me I would go high clearance bumper or aftermarket unless you arent using the truck that way then get it fixed

Depends if the damage is just to the bumper and not the bedsides.

If so then you can get a direct bold on aftermarket bumper.

All Pro, CBI, ATO all make some and they'll hold up better than the stocker incase you get hit again

i appreciate the response but its somewhat lackluster until you get it/announce exactly what you are getting and why you chose it over others...
Im looking for first hand experience with shops i guess since ive been given a list myself
Denver is not so big that I care whether its in wheatridge or highlands ranch or aurora i just want a quality repair. Ive looked at high clearance bumpers in the bumper thread that is stickied and i have about three that i would consider. I have nationwide and they told me they reccomend the people in this blue ribbon crapshoot of a list http://nwinsurance.nationwide.com/eclaims/inquiry/findautorepairshops/find-auto-repair-shops.asp I will probably figure out which way i go depending on how much they offer to cover/give me to fix myself

There is barely two pin head sized marks that i can see on one side. not dented just scuffed the paint below(so i hope and then the hitch got dinged too). like i said ive looked at the stickied thread and AllPro has been called to question. I sorta like the relentless except for the hoRRoRible R's on it, The CBI and ATO i like but im not sure how the trailer hitch on it them will be as I do plan on towing a good bit come next summer. I guess Im looking for first hand experience with either

I've got the CBI, it's a high clearance, but their bolt on bumper is basically the same.

Mine has a hitch on it hidden behind the license plate. It's on a hinge, so you just flip it up and plug in the trailer.

I wouldn't go tow a camper trailer with it; but something like an expedition trailer or a couple of bikes, no problem.
