$1,964.35 for a semesters worth of books?!

so sad my freaking bill for my text books is right at 2k.
imma have to start selling my kidneys to make it through the year.

im used to paying like 600 a year not 4k a year

i remember $400-$600 for books, around $100 a piece. That was 12 years ago. $2k is ridiculous.

 

holy shit...mine were like 500 for first semester...and that was buying mostly used...books suck! haha

dude.. Chegg.com.... rent your books instead. My friend just save 500 on her books. Ive saved close to 400 one time. I refuse to give the people at my school any more money than they are already getting.

 

see the only thing im not sure about getting online is that i go to a military school, so im not sure if those will work but i'll check it.

I'm a Political Science Major, during Fall/Spring I take 16 credits, usually I spend about $400-$500 in books, less if I can get them on rental. Damn book store never wants to buy my books back.

$2K is absurd. Are they made of a solid gold or something?

 

School is way too expensive now a days. Not worth it in my opinion. Most people graduate with on average $25,000 worth of student loan debt, and then there are no jobs to be had.

unfortunately you need a degree to keep moving on up. You can only move so far up the ladder without a degree.

In my opinion a degree means you can be trained. Unless you major in Hospitality Management or Psychology, then go for it...Find a skill or trade

 

The only reason I say this in sarcasm is I find so many people looking for employment that are way overqualifed, but unemployed and looking for work. Man it's scarry
