    1, mine works fine.
2, O2 is fine and you can't fault a vehicle for you forgetting to put on your gas cap.
3, Toyota didn't coat the frames, Dana did, take it up with Dana. As in Dana axles.
4, mine only fail to retract when they're twisted.

Any frame will rot off a car in the rust belt.

My gripe is with myself, these dashes aren't made to take apart, mine now rattles because I've done it a few times

take your pick... i'm going with either the corbeau A4 or corbeau TRS seats

corbeau makes bolt in seat mounts for tacomas too

    I have a few problems.

    1. My gas tank randomly stopped working from a half tank and down. It works fine for the first half

    2. My cruise control stopped working. Not sure what happened.

    3. And my seatbelts dont retract very well at all.

    4. That stupid plastic on the side of the seat sucks and falls off every once in a while.

    5. I've had to replace 3 axle seals in 10k. One was my fault.

    6. My engine light just came on, need to go get that looked at...

Thats about it, I need to get the gas tank, cruise control, and engine light looked at. But i use it, a lot, so Im not very upset. If it never saw dirt and I had these problems I would be pissed. You got to pay to play.

Cast exhaust mani cracks on the 4 banger. Fix your cracked mani asap or you'll have to rebuild your cyl head like i had to do.

    tig welded mine

Buy a factory header for an 03? 3rz, doesn't matter if you own a 2rz, it's a tube header. Google it for actual information

i wanted to but didn't have the money when rebuilding, i plan on doing that soon. It takes all but 30 minutes to get the header off so I'm not worried about labor.

SERIOUS TIMELY ADVICE NEEDED... CONSIDERING BUYING ASAP

Thinking of getting a 2004 v6 Trd extended cab with 189k miles....what's a decent price? Interior was well taken care of and timing belt needs changed...guy is 2nd owner and I'm going to take a look ASAP...he wants 11k$ for it...too much? Just about to graduate from college and need something reliable for my new job AND I'm on a budget of 10k...located in Florida...

My only problems on my 2004 at 62,000 miles:

    1. Broken extended cab window latch dog bone. This happened when I used to live in AZ. Heat makes the plastic brittle over time. There is a guy on here who used to machine a aluminum version for folks.

    2. Squeaky clutch on the V6. Remove cheesy torsion spring/grommets and use Ace Hardware spring for $2.

Also check the cable at the end of the brake lever, they frey and snag at the end of the handle.

These and the (might as well be) nonexistent dash clock are the only problems haha. Sometimes it's a pain to see depending on how you're sitting in the seat.. And the fact that you have to be sitting just right to see the clock is a problem in itself haha. Actually I had a girl ride to school with me for 3 months at the beginning of the year, and she rode with me last week and the first thing she said, "Your truck has a clock?!" My reply, "Exactly." lol.
