My truck is at the Toyota dealer for the 10k service, and I got them to ride along and feel the vibration I'm having from about 4-9mph when accelerating. They were gonna check the t-case, diff fluids, and driveline angles and stuff and check other things and let me know. Dropped it off at 9, won't be done until 2:30 they say  anyways, hope they bring me good news

Amen. I miss my 93 and 94 RX7. It's the most fun car I've driven. I miss my 06 and 07 R1 too. I now drive a 5300lb Tacoma. On the bright side I haven't received a ticket since I've sold all my toys. After I pick up the fiance a G37 I'll most likely get a Lotus Exige as a second fun car. It doesn't have the most power but it's about the closest thing to a racecar for me.

Nice... ironically it's the opposite for me. Never got a ticket in the 92 twin turbo Stealth or 05 G35 coupe 6spd... yet I've had a ticket in every other car including both trucks lol.

I've been pulled over the most times in my Tacoma but I haven't received any tickets. It's been dumb stuff.

Got pulled over twice in one day for no front plate. (still haven't put it on)
Twice for no mud flaps (fixed that)
Once for too dark of a cover on the rear license plate. (The reason it looked dark is because I don't have any lights for the plate)
Once for a drug stop? The cop was all weird and looked like he was trying to score some weed. He ended up telling me my windows are too dark and my tires stick out too far and to have a nice day. That was the weirdest traffic stop.

Dude wth... lol. I've got pulled over in my 08 for 20 over, pulled over because my plate was "dim" (one light fell out of the socket after I switched bumpers I guess it wasn't clipped in all the way). Then again in my '10 for 20 over... lol. What can I say, the road is flat, straight, in the middle of no where... 55mph is way to slow of a limit. Most do 70+ anyway.

Sounds like you just have crappy speed limits. My truck is too heavy to go any faster than 65-70mph. I get 16mpg driving conservatively as it is. If I go any faster than that then it drops pretty quickly.

I have ALL the speeding tickets in my pickup...

Honolulu Police department would hide at the end of the tunnels and wait for someone to just go 10 over. They don't even pull you over, they just stand in your lane ahead of you and point to a pull over spot. Once you pull over you get a nice yellow piece of paper withing 1-2 minutes. Its a rather efficient way to suck $100 out of you. They probably write 20 tickets an hour there...

Yeah, I was going to Moab and at the Idaho border there were two troopers sitting there. One of them decided my truck looked like a drug transportation vehicle. He pulled me over and asked if I had any drugs or large amounts of money. I told him no since I don't smoke or carry large amounts of cash around for fun. He then asked if I had even a little bit of weed on me. I told him no, again. He threatened to get a drug sniffing dog out to smell around. I told him it's a waste of his time and my time. He asked again if I had weed in the truck. It sounded like he was just trying to get some for him and his buddy. After I told him no, he said my window tint is too dark and my tires stick out too far. Followed by a "have a nice day" and walked off leaving me confused. There was no need to pull me over since I was doing 62 in a 75.

Seriously though, I'd like getting a run planned but I have all my weekends booked up in anticipation of this move.

^^ That's pretty fucked dude. That's my worst nightmare. Especially driving a Black STi. That thing is in my garage or within eye shot of my desk at work. When it's not in either of those locations, I am very nervous.

I feel for you though. Someone egged my 350Z outside of a party in College. The fucker who I'm 98% sure did it, still won't own up to it to this day. I'm sure as hell not friends with him but we have some mutual friends. He won't even admit it to them so maybe he didn't do it. But it was pretty damn random otherwise.

It's been said a million times before, but it is sometimes difficult to have nice stuff. There's always someone around with enough jealousy and anger to try to bring you down to their level.
