    the AF m16 qual is a joke. 25 meters... normally personell deploying have to re qualify before they leave. We had a member fail twice, went back a third time for a private session and I think she had to get a waiver by the commander for her to still take the m16 down range....wtf is the point of even qualifying if it can just be waiverd?!?!

    Seeing the third gen section forced me to get a Ford...
    AF uses size adjusted targets for up to 200m or something. if the majorty of us are shooting, the marines, army, australians, canadians, french, zimbobweians, and even kids with slingshots are already wiped out:D

    EDIT: speaking of which, I am shooting Sunday, so i'll report back:fenforcer:

    tell me about it. and she is not the first one....I tell the range guys all the time that I would not trust these people with a weapon in a combat situation! cant hit a paper target at 25m sitting still...what if the target is shooting back?!

    You better get expert! :p

    A lot of the AF people we deploy are getting tasked with army personel doing convoys and other joint taskings. Most that leave from here actually get M4's now instead of m16's. How you dont qualify with a m4 that has a reddot is beyond me :notsure:

    lol. i've actually never gotten expert...always been a couple hits under. i'm not sure yet, but my UTC calls for M9 and M16, so i guess i may get to qualify on both.

    too bad they wont let me shoot w/ my .270 and my leupold attached

    when i went through basic, you needed 15 out of 40 to qualify and we had a guy that was getting between 8-12 each time.
