    Flags are supposed to be orange or red and minimum 6 feet above from the ground. That being said, I've seen all kinds of shit fly out there. Seen tons of american flags, rebel flags, ford flags (although most of the ford flags I will admit were on the ground). I personally have one of these but I'll probably end up putting a red rag or something on top of it just to be "legal"

    Technically an American flag is kinda red and a rebel flag is orange. I've never seen anybody get harassed for either of those because there bigger than a standard dune flag and actually usually easier to see because there on a hard pole and stand up straight under speed unlike a flimsy whip. I'm not the law though so I can't say for sure

    I think you could argue that an American flag meets those minimums. Just depends on if you want to argue with them. Thanks for finding that I was gonna look for it but it wouldn't have been until tomorrow.

    I absolutely agree with you. The rangers can be real fucking pricks though.
    I'm just throwing a red rag on the top of my flag despite the fact the giant black flag sticks out against the sand more than a dinky 6x12 orange flag.

    I normally just use an ATV whip and had screwed into one of the dimple dies my bed cage. My buddy had his on the 2nd gen rails. Here's a couple pictures I could find. Hundred ways to skin a cat on this one. I've seen people with fishing poles zip tied to open windows before. Whatever works I guess.
