Just a heads up the one in South San Francisco will do alignments on lifted trucks but they won't guarantee that it'll meet spec.

That's el pollo loco! Are Goodyear locations franchisees?

Damn, i could go for a $50 alignment. I was thinking next time around I would try the lifetime Firestone one... but doesn't sound like that is a great idea anymore :p

Shoot, alignments are sure a problem for us lifted folk. Sears may not be able to do it, no lifetime warranty. No warranty even on One Time alignments. That sucks!

I don't want to drive 20miles just for an alignment either, waste of gas and time. There's got to be a reputable shop closer.

Firestone ain't bad just remember that weekends are usually first come first serve only, at least at the SSF one. $50 is very reasonable and you'd be supporting a local business.

If it's alright with you guys I'd like to roll through and hang out as well. I had my coil overs rebuilt by Icon and they just came back on Monday. Time permitting I'd like to see them back on the truck. If not I'll probably just go buy that bottle jack I've been meaning to pick up @ harbor freight and do it myself or take it to El Sobrante Town Garage.

I'll swing by TopDog in Berkeley tomorrow and pick up a pack of Lemon Chicken Sausages and the buns to go with 'em for Saturday. LMK!

The only problem is the Firestone I visited (E. San Jose) said they can't do lifted trucks. The guy I spoke with recommended 4WPs believe it or not. He's got a lifted F150 and takes his truck there even.

The fact that he drives a Ford should be enough to tell you to NOT go to 4WP. 4WP is the offroad equivalent to Walmart. At least at Walmart you can buy ammo. If anyone's curious, I'll let the look at how the "experts" at 4WP tried to balance my tires. Fucking idiots I swear.

Again, Firestone's are hit and miss, but it's a hell of a deal if you find one that is good and works on your truck. I've had good luck with the one in MV and the one in Milpitas (off landess and 680). The one in E San Jose I walked out of after standing around for 20 minutes and still not getting helped.

If you want you truck to be perfect, Custom Alignment in Mountain View, but they are far from cheap. In fact they are downright pricey, but it's perfect. They were the only one's I let touch my track car. They also aligned my Tundra and my wife's 4runner post lift. Neither of those are beaten on very hard offroad so they have kept their alignment well.
