I painted a new grille to match my tacoma and I got the bhlm. I'm looking for honest opinions on how it looks. should I keep the color match grille (does it even look color match) or go back to my chrome grille and should I keep the bhlm or go back to my original headlights?

Looks great, I just put a white color match grill on and at first thought it wasn't a match. After a few days in the sun it seems to be perfect now ... maybe is was just my eyes.

yeah, it was pretty easy to do. I ordered the grille from partsgeek.com for about $30. ordered adhesion promoter, primer, paint and clear coat from automotivetouchup.com for about $40 and they have instructions on their website for painting. just followed their directions.

oh yeah, the grille comes in two pieces from parts geek so you don't have to mask anything off. when you are done painting you just mate the two pieces together and use a solder iron to melt the tabs to lock the two pieces together.

Great tip on the two piece grill too. I bought one from a member here & had to dremel off the surround, paint it & solder it back on.
Great mod w/ blacked out headlight, like it alot.
