The link didn't work for me. I fly into SLC tomorrow afternoon then will be driving to Pleasant Grove. Send more info on AutoTrader and I'll try and check it out tomorrow evening while I head home.

 

I work downtown only a couple of blocks from there. Tomorrow is crazy with meetings. If nobody gets a chance to go over I can check it out for you on Friday. Anything in particular you want me to check out? From the pics it looks really clean.

Roll with a stock truck ?? What fun is that?

 

There are a few negatives, but not many.

1. so much chrome....
2. Side steps... (cant really say much because I bought my truck with similar)
3. Manual Trans, but if thats what you want.
4. The white wheels are a bit... um, white.

Now for the more major things

1. Non-TRD. They dont give a good view of the dash, but I think the only buttons there is for the Clutch Override. I might be mistaken though, as there really isn't a good view. It may or may not make a difference to you today, but the locker in the TRD is nice (most of the other TRD features (shocks) would have been replaced by now anyway, so irrelevant).

2. Plastic Bed Liner. You're going to have rubbing damage under the bed liner, maybe all the way down the bare metal. Also, depending if the previous owner used the bed or not, your fenders will be caved in a bit, hidden by the bed liner. They're easy enough to beat back into place, but just telling you this now so there isn't any shock if you do remove the bed liner one day.

3. I think the SR5 sticker on the tailgate doesn't go with the truck. I'm not sure about 2000s, but I believe some SR5 features would be things like power windows, tilt wheel, power mirrors, etc. (luxury items that truck doesn't seem to have any of)

4. That ball on the bumper is not the tow package and you shouldn't tow anything with that. Dont let them mark up the price for the "tow package".

That being said, the KBB on it from it based on the info I see in good condition is under $5000.


For that kinda money, you would be better off with http://www.ksl.com/index.php?sid=0&nid=443&tab=list/view&ad=4463024 Its 3 years newer, a few more miles, a true SR5, and I cant be 100% certain since the button is hidden, but if going by the decals, a TRD, same engine, same transmission, and either aftermarket or factory tow package. (And that was only the first option on KSL - I didn't look at the other 60 in the 2001-2004 range)

You will be suprised what you can do with a stock Tacoma.

I don't think the one in question is stock it looks like it may have a small lift.

There is another ARB bumper up for sale on KSL right now....

 

I think I may have just worked out a trade.

I may have to hook up the father inlaws Tacoma or maybe depending on the season switch between the ARB and All-Pro.

Seems like a cool guy, I told him to check out TW.

 

I called and a lady answered; told me to wait until mid-week to get the parts. I am buying both the ARB and the white Camper for my truck.

During my conversation with the lady and the husband about the bumper and shell they never mention anything about you and I talked the husband for 15 minutes about Tacoma’s and the stuff they were selling off the truck.

Sell your crazy someplace else TW members should be looking out for each other ASSHOLE!

Don’t bother showing your face at any Utah meets because like I said Utah TW members look out for each other.

 

I posted that when you said you hoped it looked like shit on my Tacoma; that was a few lines past your prior meaning of "if you did." and a few more past looking out for one another, don't you think?

I even had a friend call and setup a time to go look at the parts for me, since I drove to Denver for another bumper.

I'll show at meets, just like I always do, and if this online needs to be pulled into it, we can settle it then; I'll bring beers for after. If I wasn't interested in looking out for your deal, I wouldn't have backed off of the entire purchase. It's honor code and my own, follow your own, and enjoy the good looking enhancements.

Like I said TW members should look out for each other if you really did imitate a deal earlier today it’s all yours but if not don’t worry I’m sure those parts will have some bad Karma. And we all know what they say about Karma.
