I did my emblem on the grille with it because I wasn't sure I would like it and wanted to be able to go back to the stock chrome. I have to admit that I was curious about the Plasti Dip and wanted to experiment with it. Whenever it gets messed up I will paint it now though. I have had so many comments about the blacked out emblem and I love it too.

I bought it used from a guy on here used and it's a 9 outa 10. He only had it on his truck 3 months. It's a Softtopper brand and I must say I've had it on my truck 2 days and I absolutely love it. Look and functionality are why I got it. The sides roll up and buckle on each side and once installed (15-20 minutes) it folds down against the back of the cab in under 2 minutes. I went on the freeway yesterday, and had my cousin get in back 70-75 mph flawless said it was hardly shaking and no wind was getting in. The construction was a lot better then a thought it was going to be aswell. All in all it's one of the best gifts I've got my truck.

I plasti-dipped my skid plate and it has lasted 2 years now with no issues. It is the only part on my truck that I have dipped. I guess it is easier, cheaper, removable, and more fool-proof than paint is.

Getting the first oil change performed under Toyota Care.

Glad I called around before visiting dealers as the Denver area dealer I was most familiar with said it would be a three week wait for an appointment to get it changed and refused to do walk-ins. Instead I went to another and its done in less than an hour as a walk-in.

Washed it, while doing so my 5 year old niece wanted to help so I gave her a rag and soap and put her to work scrubbing the bed. Funny watching her slip around yelling "ooooh this is fun!". It was a bubbly mess :D

I did Plastidip because it was quick cheap and easy. Also I did not want it to be irreversible.

I bought mine from Jacque at TRDParts4u.com. Great customer service every time I order from them.

Edit: I tried to link it right to the Softopper but it didn't work. Look for key word "bed toppers"
