Its been over a week since I went from a 2K9 Taco DC TRD 4x4 V6 Auto to a 2K2 Access Cab 4x4 V6 5spd and I couldn't be happier:D Don't get me wrong...the 2K9 truck was awsome..but by comparision the 2K2 is a Sports Car...Truck has just over 135K miles on her...the previous owner kept it super clean..you can practically eat off the engine...Just got her Mobil 1 Synthetic change and she is good to go. Any 3.4 V6/5 speed owners out there? Curious as to your MPG...

    Welcome to first gen life!!

Both generations have there pros and cons, but I still think the first gens are great and a ton of fun to drive. I love mine and wouldn't trade it for a second gen ever. Just my humble opinion.

Welcome to the 1st gen family!

If you don't mind me asking...what made you trade out?

And you asked about mpgs. I get 20 to 21 regularly on the highway if I don't push it too hard, 18-ish around town. Best ever was around 24.5. That was all highway (65mph or less). I've got an automatic though...

Nice truck! It's an exact clone of mine, except it's an 03. I get 18-19 mixed not even trying in non-ideal circumstances for getting good mileage.
