What you want to do is, wait for the Court clerk to get the ticket. This is going to take a few weeks to a month. Call them and ask them if there are any other options instead of going in. Sometimes they will set up the traffic school for you.

I got a ticket in my STi, in Eagle County. I was doing 84MPH in a 65MPH zone. There was no way I was going to drive 3 hours for court, so I called them, they said pay $50 and go to traffic school. Zero points and I received a certificate of safe driving.

Sounds like you already have everything squared away on this deal. However, I would recommend Southeast Auto Body to the list. They were recommended by my State Farm agent and the dealer where I got my Tacoma.

They had to replace my front bumper cover and repaint my hood and driver's side front quarter panel. When it was finished, I couldn't tell it had been painted. The paint was as smooth as glass, and the match to the silver mica was perfect.

    Good luck!

I should have mentioned they are in Highlands Ranch. The website is http://www.southeastautobody.com/.

They will receive all of my business after my experience. Very professional, and the team is committed to making a vehicle look perfect.

do you have any other points on you license ? if you are clean I would wait and go to court chances are you will get a defective vehicle with 2 points or i have seen no points just a fine but its if the judge is in a good mood it’s not a moving violation and the fine will prob be a little less

Just send in the money and don't hassle with the court or class.
Auto reduced to 2 points. You will be fine.

I'm assuming it was from what happened in the Live thread. Some shit went down, someone posted a phone number and other text bombed it...I was reading it late but then went to bed. The shit that caused the banning may have gone down after I left the thread.

Agreed. If you got to court it will most likely be dropped to a non moving violation. They will give make a defective headlight or something. Defective headlight is only one point BTW.

i dont have any points on my record. in fact, i havent had a ticket for over 10 years. it just sucks to get one for such a stupid circumstance.
what sucks about points in CO is that they last for 7 years. that seems a little long to me.
in CA (non-DUI related tickets) would fall off your record in 3 years.
