Pre-season polls are for losers. Polls don't mean shit till week 6 after you get a good cross sample of a teams performance.

I'm gonna second this. I hate LSU, but I can't deny the magic that happens in the real death valley on saturday nights...

LSU has won 44 of their last 49 games at home

Since 1960 LSU is 219-60-4 at night in tiger stadium...pretty solid

I'm not a Clemson fan either, here is what I found for the two "Death Valleys".....Both pretty similiar records...

Clemson: Death Valley facts, Clemson is 227-88-7 at Death Valley, over 71% winning percentage.

LSU: Beginning with that first game in Tiger Stadium, LSU has posted a 379-143-18 (.719) mark in Death Valley.

VooDoo, i can RESPECT you for that! I dislike a lot of teams and such, but so things you just can't deny. "Death Valley" is pretty intense.

FWIW.... Alabama is 24-9 vs. LSU in Baton Rouge. I've only been there once... The fans weren't as hostile as I'd heard they would be. I got a lot of "Tiger Bait" walking into the stadium, but that was about it.

We won that game 31-0. As you can imagine, there were no issues leaving the stadium................

Now that we are actually worth a damn, you should make the trip back. COme on over next year and you'll see the hostility. But really, it isn't as bad as everyone says. NO ONE has a patch on the d-bag Florida Gator fans

As long as Coach Les is at LSU they have all the luck they need. Just ask Tennessee.

I think it was actually 24-9-2... There was a tie in 1944, too.

Always loved that video. I had never been to a game until a couple years ago. When I saw that video and heard Larry Munson talk I almost got chills. Any time Munson talks you gotta stop and listen. Heard him on the radio for so many years...hate that he's in such bad shape. The book he wrote is pretty interesting, too...and comes with his most famous calls.
