No mouse nest on mine, just 47,000 miles in Kansas and parking outside.

I have seen a few posts of dirty cab filters, but wow, those are bad. The nest was one thing, but you guys did not notice anything with the air quality?

There wasn't any noticeable smell, but I did notice the AC blower was not putting out much air. I had to turn it on full force to really get any air coming out. That's when I decided to check the filter

Check out this site for good filters cheap. I have ordered and I am currently using them, and they look just like a factory filter. I paid 3.62 ea.

You can get good TYC replacement filters from Logical-source.com and from Amazon. They're more expensive on Amazon, but you get free shipping...either one works. I bought mine from logical-source.

not to many, love it the way it is
Just changed out the filter in mine, it was really dirty. a few pine needles made their way in there, nothing living in there though...

Its a good thing you're not smelling the mice smell in your truck, hopefully the mice will not come back to make a new nest. they sure knew how to ride in style :)

But I believe you can run one, and I think your all set up for it, its just that the 05's did not come stock with the filter. Maybe someone who has an 05 can chime in...

I can put one in, I just never did. Cab seems fine without it.

I never had a truck with a cab in filter, but now that I do, its like "bottled water", it has to be better right? :homer: I guess it can not hurt unless it restricts air flow like mentioned above...:D

I don't run one at all, which probably explains the cloud of dust when I kick the ac to turbo mode.
