I am pretty sure this is what I ordered. I got a box today, straight from china, with no invoice or any kind of packing list . I assume what is in the box is what I wanted but it looks kinda junky. The ddm websight looks legit to me and the have two offices in CA so I guess I was expecting something more.

    can anyone relate?

    Ill post pics tonight

Call ddm and ask them about it. I hear they have shitty customer service though...

I guess that makes me feel a little better. I just expected something more legit. At least an invoice, or a packing list or some instructions or something! And the mounting brackets, which were $4 each, are literally paper thin cheap metal!

Yeah that's DDM. pretty much straight from China. Mine was the same. Customer service sucks, shipping time sucks, packaging sucks, but the price is great. I have 2 sets from them :D

They do look kinda cheap. My ebay speacials look better quality than those and shipping only took 2 days. They have a lifetime warrenty also and mounting brackets were included. I only paid $40 shipped.

As long as they work tho I guess...

lol ya thats fine. i have 4 sets of there HIDS. All of them were the same. Only had 1 ballast go bad after the year i have had them. no biggy just call them up and send it back. The return takes a few weeks and it usually takes a few times of calling to get ahold of someone. Just be patient and they will take care of it.

I just put mine in. I ended up getting a second set for the fogs. Went with the slim ballast on those. I like the slim ones better. I ordered the same 35w, 5000k for the fogs, but I ordered them at different times, so the light is actually brighter and more white from the fogs. Not by much, but I can see the difference. Ill post some pics soon. As far as the install went, the headlights were plug and play. My truck was not wired for fogs, but I had a bunch of help at the east bay mod day#2 with the whole install. Had to run wire through the firewall but it works great. I bought the stock switch, but its not lighting up so maybe Ill have to fiddle with it. I am happy with the upgrade, not sure how it will hold up in the rain though. We will see.
