I need the opinion of a pro on powder-coating a cast iron bathtub. We have a authentic clawfoot tub that we have had refinished twice. Both times it eventually bubbled then chipped on the bottom of the tub. It does get well used as we have three small kids and until recently, was the only bathtub in the house. Now that the kids are getting old enough to shower we want to get it finished one LAST time. The local powdercoater has never done a tub and can't guarantee me that it will hold up to regular use. Anyone on here have any experience with this?
