Is there functionality to the tanto blade? Easier to stab stuff? I've always liked the look but dont know the exact application

The tanto has a much stronger tip, good if you want to stab through a car hood I guess, but a lot of knives will do that...

My EDC for a year now... best folder I've owned. The safety lock is kind of annoying but I just stick a piece of paper in there to keep the safety off. I've never had it open unintentional either.

The three I carry most often depending on the day/situation. I typically carry my Spyderco Police model that I've had since 1996 when I was still a USAF Security Policeman. Christmas gift from my wife at the time.

Randall's are my favorite. My dad bought me 2 back in the '80's. I lost one in Baja, so the other one never leaves the house.

Here are some of my multi-tools. The Leaterman is always on my hip, the Kobalt in the door of my truck, and the Winchester in my desk at work. I have more but they're in my toolboxes, tackleboxes, and closet.

Anyone have experience with spyderco's pacific salt knife? I've been thinking about this one since my crkt is collecting some rust. The only thing I'm worried about is the toughness of H1 steel
