You should henceforce be known as the "Lift Master". Installing lifts in record times! I hear all the ladies dig it when you jack it up, stuff it in, and let 'er down easy in less than 10 minutes.

Holy shitballs I just had an epiphany. Jerry, I know you tied up your truck and put your wheels on, but I didn't see you torque the axle nut. :notsure:

And on that note, anyone who got lifts or did suspension work should make sure to check torque all their stuff tomorrow and retorque in 500 miles.

All torque settings below are in ft-lb. I only know the 1st gen stuff by heart, but the second gen stuff "should" be the same.

    UCA bolt: 87
    Caliper bolts: 90
    Lower shock bolt: 101
    Coilover top plate bolts: 47
Front Diff bolts (if you did diff drop) : 101
LBJ to Spindle bolts: 59 for 1st gen / 118 for 2nd gen
    Ubolts: 90
    Lug Nuts: 75-85
    Axle Nut: 174
Uniball UCA to Spindle bolt: 100

Below are the links to the kit I was telling you about. It auto adjusts the air pressure in the bags based on how much load you have. There are two kits, a single and a double. The double is better if you have loads that are heavier on one side (one bag would have more air pressure than the other). You'll need a OBA setup though.

Damn I drove home and didn't hear a single squeek. I pretty much forgot what it was like. I love it :D

Thanks again Jerry for hosting a bad ass mod day. A whole lot of shit got pumped out. Your house is great for a bunch of trucks. The food was great and it was great seeing you guys again and meeting some new folks.

On another note, Jerry I'm ordering new stainless steel uni-balls and I'll hit you up about pressing them in. Thanks again!

To be honest I'm not sure if I put a torque wrench on anything except the top plate bolts. I know for a fact that when I left it the uniball bolt was only finger tight so make sure that big mf gets torqued.

Oh yeah...I'm fucking SORE today.

Jerry you should get a lift and an aligment machine so we can put 4WP out of business. :D

I don't recall the axel nuts but I do remember torqueing down the uniballs.

NIce! yeah, next up is front rotors/pads, there feels like there is enough left to turn on my rotors without buying new ones just yet, and I really need a new battery, I want to look into rebuilding my alternator for a higher output soon too. I hadn't occured to me to have coils added to an exisisting one, thanks for the info on that.

That right there is the money shot. Working so long into the night that you don't even take any bathroom breaks. Just bring the toilet out to the truck.:D And now we know why Jerry said he doesn't need to camp where there's bathrooms, he just brings his own throne along.:D
