Do the regular F150s have the same frame as the Raptors? Because I remember A guy on a Raptor forum having a bent frame and couldn't get warranty work done to it. Personally I'd get the F150, they have history for the best selling truck. A F150 was my first truck, (2000) it had it's problems. Shitty transmission, alternator went out 2 times, power locks stop working, and A/C problems. I don't know about quality with the new ones, but what I've heard Ford really addressed that problem and stepped up on quality.

RIP to my 08 Prerunner DC

This video proves nothing. All objects have a resonance frequency. If you find the right frequency I bet most trucks will do this. While I do agree that this video make the truck look like shit I have a feeling toyota built in a little frame flex because it is a good thing.

    A little? LOL.

The article that someone else linked says the TSB only applies to the 2007- 2010 tundras...but what about the 2011 trucks? are they already fixed? :(

Why all the tundra hate :( Drive both, you will make your mind up then. Tundra interior and handling are way better than f150 imo. I have also gotten 20 mpg mostly highway with my 5.7. 17 mixed. People with the 4.7 don't see much better and they have less power.

Take that video with a grain of salt. The guy above is right and any truck will do that with the right frequency. The frames are not as rigid as fords, but that is why it rides a little nicer too. Does not impact towing like all ford loves will make you think. And if you youtube ford and chevy videos you will see chevy completely ripping apart ford in some of their frame and endurance tests. The TSB was for something different. No offense, but visit a tundra forum if you have questions about them. 99% of tacoma owners have never even been inside a tundra.

Correct and also the F-150 HAD super crew with 6.5 ft bed vs the rest with shorter wheelbases...it was done by ford not an independent lab

The 2nd gen Tundras originally did not have a fully boxed frame. Toyota fixed the issue.

I'm pretty sure the frame is boxed around the engine, then C channel after that.

I don't trust the numbers Ford puts on paper.

Ugh I don't want to deal with this bed bounce issue when I get the truck and the TSB only goes up to 2010 models...
