I went to the local audio store to do some shopping today and I have decided I am going to with the Kenwood DNX5120 an amp and all new door speakers. No sub as I want the usable space. Anyway, the salesman turned me on to som "Hertz" speakers. I listened to the 6.5" coax and 6.5" components (components for the front and coax in the rear) and I gotta say they sounded AWESOME for the price (250 and 150 respectively)!. Never heard of them and apparently hey are italian.

    Comments? Anybody have them?

I've heard of a Hurtz Donut...

I have never heard of them; but, you have and you liked them so that is all that matters.

I have heard of them. A local shop just started carrying them and the owner is changing out everything in his own vehicles as well as his boat to Hertz. He is crazy about them and has been trying to get me to buy some. I like how they sound and they are a quality design, but I just can't afford new speakers right now.

I'll agree they are some nice sounding speakers (as long as they are installed properly of course ;)) however most important is what you think of how they sound! BTW, Hertz/Audison is one of the major sponsors for my BBQ/Meet every year and I'll probably be giving away a few sets again this year! :D

Good to hear! I am counting on the shop installing them correctly, hehe. I did listen to alot of speakers in the demo room and I kept going back to these Hertz speakers ....even over much more expensive ones. Of course they are gonna sound much different in my truck but I am hoping for good things, lol.

I am actually going with an audison 4 channell amp (65 watt rms) too. I am hoping its a good amp cause I am getting it for $459.00 :)
