You can walk into Walmart and buy a shotgun or rifle without a license in PA right? Isn't it just hand guns that require the license?

a cc license? for a shotgun or rifle you walk in say i want that one, they run a double back ground check and once your cleared its yours. same with the hand gun but you have to wait a couple days if you dont have a cc

Some stuff. Not a lot, just some.
Took me 20 minutes to get each of my pistols. One I got before I had a CC, the other I got after. Same with my AR. In and out under 30 minutes.

    summbitches...........
They make you fill out a form with basic stuff (name, addy, ss#, etc) then there are about 10 yes/no questions. You can pretty much run right down the yes column and check them all except two.

It's for a fire arms ID card. It means I am allowed to purchase guns. However, if I want to purchase a hand gun, I need to apply for a hand gun permit. Right now I am applying for 2 hand gun permits with the fire arms ID card. You can only buy one hand gun a month, and a permit is only good for like 90 days or something like that.

I just went to a local range and talked to the guy there about what I want to buy. Looks like I'll be getting a ruger revolver that can shoot 3 different caliber bullets (hell if I know what it was called but I think he mentioned 38 special and 45 ??? ) for like $600 and a .22 with scope for $249

Sounds like a black hawk. I have one Josh. I'll bring it up to the meet if you'd like. Shots 357 and 38 as Scott said.

Cool thanks guys. Looks like I won't have my permit till October 30 ish. NJ is allowed up to 90 days to decide if you deserve a permit or not.
If you don't mind bringing it I'd like to check it out. Thanks Ben
