I am on a limited budget of $1500 - $2000 and I am looking to spend some $$ on my 2004 2wd tacoma quad cab.

I am intertested in getting it lifted. I already have Pro Comp wheels.
What kit should I buy? Can I get a kit for this much money?

What would you spend the money on if you could do it?

I would get a set of King/Icon coilovers, Total chaos UCA's and a Deaver rear leaf pack and some 5125 bilstein rear shocks. Then your done

Extended Differential Breather, ABS on/off, 6000k LEDs from CSJumper, heads/fogs, ScanguageII, Devil horns, Devil horns on third brake light, Mounted 60" Highlift, Mounted Tool Box, Wet Okole Front/Rear Seat Covers, TW sticker, Midland Handheld CB,Painted engine cover, Revenge Fab Sliders, ARE Topper, Weather tech Floorliners, Camper shell, ultimate headlight upgrade. URD -3° exhaust cam gears, .5" XTP Intake spacer. Custom dents.
What size lift you looking for, 6" or 3", since you are asking if you can get one for this price I would imagine you are looking for 6". My question would be is a 6" lift wasted on a 2wd truck? Not putting your truck down, just asking, as I feel when you own a truck you do what ever you like with it, besides these damn Tacomas look great and perform well 2 and 4 wheel drive models.

hey, if your on a limited budget. Check out Toytecs stuff, you'll be very pleased. I bought a 3" coil spacer and i love it. Rides just like stock and very easy to install.

6inch Fab tech lift. Nitto Mud grapplers or BFG mud terrain. Also flowmaster glass pack. K & N Ram air intake. OR you might just want to get a 4wd conversion done for that much.

I would go for a 3inch toytech spacer lift badlands bumper, allpro sliders, muffler, and hid's. Or you could skip all that and get a bad ass sound system.

Same lift I plan on doing (Icon's instead of King's) except I plan on getting Icon shocks in the rear instead of billies.

It'll take up the $2000 that you're looking to spend.

Sorry for the late response. This is exactly what I was looking for. Thanks for the tips. Ill keep you all posted.
    Ya I suppose a 6 inch lift on a 2wd wouldn't make sense.
Aren't most of those desert pre runner trucks 2wd?
Im really loving the trophy truck or baja look. The bumper with the skid plate looks amazing. This is the look im going for.
If you guys have any pictures you could email me that would be great.

I just bought a set of Pro Comp Alloys. Here is a few pics of it now.

If you're going for the desert prerunner/baja look, get some of these fiberglass flared fenders and bedsides. It would look pretty sweet w/ a 6" long travel suspension kit. These are from downeyoff-road.com

I think after fenders, bumpers and mid travel suspension I will be close to $3000 anyways.
Will it look ok with the rims and tires I have or do I need to change those things too?
