    I wear 4 out of 5 straps DD (don't wear the "anti submarine" nut strap on the street). Yes, it takes me 5 seconds longer to buckle up, but it becomes instinctive, that way when I'm upside down on fire I don't have to fuck around with the harness. I'm always surprised after giving a thorough pre-flight briefing on safety how many passengers look over after the ride is done and say "ok now how do I get out of this thing again?" and start fumbling with the harness. I've been pulled over lots of times and never got any guff from the law about them. As far as running a harness without a cage, please at least do a hoop at the B pillar with an X brace. I used to be a tow truck driver and can't count the number of street racers I watched cut out of cars. It always made me wonder how car companies can make cars without at least a basic hoop, it would save so many lives. Sure you can bolt a harness to sheetmetal, but will it keep your ass in the cab when you take a digger and nose into a whoop at 60+ mph? Nope, you'll dirt dart right through your windshield. Also doing a cage without a harness and factory belts is a bad idea. Even a minor smack to the noggin on the cage and it's lights out, game over.

    That reminds me. A buddy of mine had a full roll cage in his supra. He got rear ended in a drive through and hit his head on the cage and got knock out.

    Any Formula 1 fans in here? They are building a track in Austin that will host Formula 1 in 2011-2021, Moto GP, 2012-2022, and V8 Supercars from Australia.

    Yes, this is a shameless plug for my Circuit of the Americas internship this summer.:D

    Raptor= 6.2L V8: 411 HP and 432 Ft lbs of torque @4500 RPM
    Tundra= 5.7L V8: 381 HP and 401 ft lbs of Torque @3600 RPM

    The maximum tow rating on a New tundra is only 8300 lbs so i doubt that would work out well in our favor...

    I love my Tacoma and you can debate the integrity of the Raptor off-road all day but that 6.2 is a beast plain and simple.
