craigslist deal too good to be true?

found this ad for a 07 trd dc on craiglist, 48k miles and only asking $7900, wondering if it's legit or not? thanks in advance for any advice

If it sounds too good to be true than it is, that sounds like another rip off waiting too happen. I would steer clear of that guy.

Almost surely a scam-- usually the actual owners of these cars don't even realize they have their pictures being used in sales ad's.

Did the 07 have stereo controls on the steering wheel? Might be an 08+ thing. Also, that picture is taken at a completely different time and in a parking lot haha

 

Looks fishy, I would steer clear.

Its fake. You can always tell for sure by the copy and pasted photos. Other than the low price and no phone number. I guarantee if you look on different cities you will find the same pictures with a different e-mail. E-mail them and they will say they are deployed and e-bay will send you the car to inspect before you pay blah blah blah. They do it with acura tl's here all the time.

Would a normal person put random gibberish at the top and bottom of their ad? No. This is a tactic used by spammers to get past spam filters. Flag the ad and move on.

Possible salvage title?

 

I posted an ad for my car on Craigslist. The next day a copy cat ad even with my same exact picture shows up. Weird. Not sure what their purpose is since they don't have the car to sell. Could be just to get emails to send spam to.

 

Flagged for Spam! when i tried selling on craigslist, i swear half the responses i got were all spam bots..

 

I bought the truck, can't pass up a good deal. I send him 50% up front via western union to Zimbabwe, when the truck arrives in a week, I will wire the rest but only if I like it. At that point he agreed to send a bill of sale and title....

 

He is paying for the shipping
