After seeing the devil horns emblem that Andres makes, I decided to try and make my own Gorilla. I think it turned out pretty good, but now I'm thinking about trying something new. I'm leaning toward the TRD emblem, but might also do the "T" emblem just to experiment.

No, I'm not set-up to mass produce, and I know there have apparently been some issues with Toyota Motor Co and the devil horn designs. These would be strictly for "personal" use. :D

Finally had the time to get the TRD emblem started. I've got the emblem machined and bead blasted, ready to paint. The picture is not great, but you get the idea of what it will look like. There are a couple of areas where the cutter path was too tight and it left a little extra material, but I'm hoping the paint will help cover it up. Either way I'm happy with how's it's starting to look, hopefully it will be painted this weekend. I also hope to have the Toyota "T" done within the next couple of weeks.

Well it's a fact I'm no Picasso but here's my attempt at painting the emblem. I will probably add a couple more coats of white & red then finish with several coats of clear. I'm thinking about sanding the black off the edge all the way around to show the metal underneath. What do you think so far?

It looks nice, i think that if you anodized it black and then took a lil off the ring and letters and bars to make them natural color it would be completely badass.

That's pretty much how I started out, but then I wanted to paint it and see how it would look. I can always bead blast it again to remove the paint. I'm going to try and find someone local who would do the powder coat or anodize instead of trying to paint it.
